Anonymous sent: so let me ask this because i'm a little hazy on this: i know we're supposed to ship ran and shinichi because it's hinted in every single movie and basically every other episode that the author certainly does. is it weird to ship ayumi and shinichi/conan? it's like, "well she's like 8, man, that's weird" but then again so is conan and, well, here we are after like 700 chapters. so... what's your opinion

alright, let’s see… ;) well, yeah, of course we’re supposed to be for shinichi x ran. do i get you right when i think you like the pairing ayumi/shinichi? so, yes, that’s a good point: the age gap. actually i am not so concerned about that but a 8 year old girl with a 17 year old (in a body of a 8 year old tho) is kinda crazy, i think. (i’ve been thinking that that’s an aspect which is a little perv about DC but okay ;D) and then there is, maybe just what i think, that i really want ran x shinichi. ‘cause YEAH! we’ve been waiting like 700 chapters and now it’s settled in our minds and so on ;D kinda brainwashed ;D to me, ran and shinichi is the only possible pairing, shinichi could be in. i really don’t like haibara, and ayumi neither (honestly i’ve actually never considered her, because… she’s a child) and to confess (i knoww i am bad hehe >.<) i want ran and shinichi to finally make up, more than just a kiss…! haha ;D and that’d never work with a 8 year old girl right? :O so to me, it’s shinichi & ran. but really, if you like ayumixconan, then ship that. i mean, if you like them, it’s fine, i won’t judge you because of that and so should nobody because DC is like that, really confusing with the pairings and so on… and sometimes there’s this h stuff, and you’re like “wtf is that dc?!” (remember that episode when conans swimming in the sea and suddenly attacked by a womans butt haha ;D) so i don’t mind someone shipping ayumixconan because in that point, i wouldn’t take DC to seriously. but for me, it’s stil&always Ran x Shinichi. ;) :)
